3 cups cabbage, finely chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 green chili, chopped
1 small potato (optional)
1 tbsp oil
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp cumin seeds
¼ tsp turmeric
½ tsp red chili powder
Salt to taste

Directions
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and cumin seeds.
- Add onion and green chili. Sauté until soft.
- Add potato (optional) and cook for a few minutes.
- Add chopped cabbage, turmeric, chili powder, and salt.
- Cover and cook on low flame for 8–10 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
Notes
- Best served with roti or dal-rice.
- Store in fridge up to 2 days.
